The 2013 vintage comes from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon; it remains faithful to the characteristics of its terroir.
It displays a ruby-tinted red colour. This vintage offers a very clear and limpid nose. It is first marked by notes of vanilla, kirsch, Morello cherry and macaroons. On the palate, this vintage offers a round and supple attack on biscuits and scents of red roses. The 2013 Closerie de Carmensec presents a long finish of vanilla-flavoured and toasted notes, giving a pleasant sensation.
