Grape Variety: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc.
Nose: Notes of dark berries, ripe red fruits, tobacco leaf, and moist earth.
Palate: Medium to full bodied, rich and enveloping. Taste of ripe dark fruits such as blackberry, it balances polished, velvety tannins with a fresh, focused acidity and a hint of vanilla on the finish.
Food Pairing: Because of its Merlot dominant savoury profile, it pairs beautifully with hearty meat dishes such as beef, venison, or roasted lamb and roast ham. It is ready to drink now or can be held for a few more years.
